Have your say on Wellington Shire Council’s Draft Revenue and Rating Plan 2026–2029
This plan outlines how Council will raise the money it needs to deliver services and infrastructure for our community over the next four years. It explains the principles we use to set rates and other charges, and how we decide who contributes what, whether that’s ratepayers, businesses, or users of specific Council services.
The Revenue and Rating Plan supports the goals in the Council Plan and helps guide our budget and long-term financial planning.
Please note: this plan doesn’t include specific dollar amounts for individual rates or services. That information is available in the Draft Council Budget 2025–2026, which you can also provide feedback on until 21 May (online) or 27 May (in person).
