Welcome to Your Wellington Your Say, Council’s online community engagement website!

Your Wellington Your Say is an online engagement platform that will assist Council to provide more accessible ways to engage with our community.

It is important to note, moving to an online platform does not mean we will stop face to face engagement activities (such as drop-in session and community workshops). Instead, we are simplifying the multiple online platforms, to one accessible online platform that promotes a more transparent, inclusive, and accessible participation.

Having one site will mean all information about a project is stored in one place. You can see all Council projects requiring feedback and you can decide which one or more you wish to participate in at a time that is most convenient to you.

Finally, an added benefit of one platform for online engagement means we can see what others have said about a project. It allows more opportunity to collaborate and have two-way conversation when we all can see and respond to what others have said.

ALONE WE CAN DO SO LITTLE; TOGETHER, WE CAN DO SO MUCH

- [HELEN KELLER ]

All projects will have a Council contact person, so if you have any questions you can liaise with the relevant Council staff. We also have a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions on this page.

All Council projects that require community engagement are guided by Council’s Community Engagement Strategy and Policy.

This is all part of Council’s commitment to continue to build strong relationships with the community to ensure the decisions Council makes reflect the desires of Wellington Shire residents and ratepayers.

We encourage you to register, get involved and have your say. We look forward to your input.
