Supporting community committee volunteers
In 2019 Wellington Shire Council conducted a community committees volunteer survey and received some great feedback. From that survey we learnt that community groups wanted more volunteer support. In response, we recruited a dedicated Committees Volunteer Support Officer to lead the work identified in the survey results.
We are now looking to assess the success of this initiative and plan for how we can continue to support your work to improve community participation at community facilities.
