Have your say on how we can best support your committee and volunteers
We recognise that in and after a significant emergency our volunteers play an important role supporting their local community.
We would like to better understand our community volunteers and how we can continue to support your work to improve community participation at community facilities, improved governance and succession planning, programming, and connecting with other local groups for activities and events.
In 2019 Wellington Shire Council conducted a community committees volunteer survey and received some great feedback. From that survey we learnt that many people and community groups wanted more volunteer support. In response, we recruited a dedicated Committees Volunteer Support Officer to lead this work.
Your feedback will help shape the work of the new Committees Volunteer Support Officer and help us understand the impact of recent bushfires and post Covid lockdowns.
If you are needing help to complete the survey or would like to pop in for a chat, our Volunteer Support Officer will be at the following pop up sessions.
