What does CHSP and HCP mean?
CHSP stands for 'Commonwealth Home Support Programme'. This is a Commonwealth funded package to support eligible older people with everyday tasks and to improve health and wellbeing.
HCP stands for 'Home Care Package'. These are also Commonwealth funded and designed for people with more complex care needs than what the Commonwealth Home Support Programme can provide.

I’m unable to use the online survey – can I still contribute?
If you are unable to complete the online survey, please contact Senior Community Development Officer Jessica Saunders on (03) 5142 3098 or jessicas@wellington.com.au to organise a telephone survey or an alternative way of communicating your survey responses.
I don’t need aged care support – can I still contribute?
Council is seeking input from carers and family members of people who receive aged care support, as well as older residents aged 55-100+ who are not receiving support.
